European Art Gallery

CPY was engaged to renovate the European Art Gallery in Dallas, TX, to expand the gallery space, modernize the utilities and provide accessible parking and access. Focusing on the interiors, a neutral white and grey color scheme contrasts the traditional columns and artwork on display. Throughout the gallery, large windows look out into an interior courtyard with rusticated limestone stone panels bookending a slate water wall. The overall effect is a transitional space that showcases the artwork against a modern backdrop. Unfortunately, this building was demolished and its galleries can no longer be experienced beyond these images.
