In case where an addition is needed but there’s little room to extend out, typically it’s better to go up. In this addition and remodel of a church in Garland, CPY did just that. The added second floor provides classrooms, a youth center, offices and restrooms in addition to a double height worship space. The exterior was refaced to blend the addition in and now the building is seamless.
