Blue Mesa – Plano

Located in Granite Park on the Boardwalk which connects an office complex to dining and entertainment venues, this Blue Mesa sits on the waterfront with frontage that wraps three walls. Anchored by a weathered wood tower, the entry reflects the Blue Mesa transitional modern Mexican style seen in their other locations. A large curved covered terrace extends from the entry tower along the south of the building to the boardwalk. Facing the boardwalk, large windows offer unobstructed views of the lake. An addition also by CPY adds seating to a previously underutilized landscape area between the restaurant and the boardwalk. By bridging this space, the owners were able to add 70 seats and a TV tower creating additional access from the boardwalk to the restaurant.
